The King Island Open Championship, a 36 hole event for men and lady golfers.

Held over the Northern Tasmanian Recreation Day / Melbourne Cup long weekend. This event is open to any golfer with an AGU handicap. The event commences on Friday with a 9 hole Chicken Run held in conjunction with a 18 hole 4BBB stableford (arrange partners).
Championship rounds of 18 holes are held on both Saturday and Sunday concluding with a Presentation Dinner at the clubhouse on Sunday evening.

King Island Golf & Bowling Club Inc will host our annual King Island Open Golf Championship over the weekend of Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November 2019. This will be our 49th consecutive Open – an event that is looked forward to by many golfers both on and off King Island!!
Remember, it is IMPORTANT that all golfers with a golf link number ensure they have it available to calculate your handicap for this year’s Open.
Our program has changed from previous years, will kick off on Friday with the 4BBB that will be hosted by Cape Wickham Links or there is a chicken run at the King Island Golf and Bowling club for individual players.
The 4BBB at Cape Wickham will be hosted under the following conditions:
• $70 plus cart for 18 holes for all players entered in the King Island Golf Open. (Normal prices for players not playing in the King Island Open)
• Player need to book direct with Cape Wickham links on 03 64631200.
• A fully completed card must be handed in at the King Island Golf Club.
These events are followed by the Calcutta in the evening from 7pm. Saturday sees the commencement of the Golf Championship for both men and ladies. (Ladies may choose to enter 18 or 36 holes).
We are now pleased to have View Dining operating their amazing business from our facility. Breakfast will be available on Saturday & Sunday, all day light meals and evening meals.

Sunday night’s traditional Presentation Dinner will start at 6pm and costs $40.00 per head. For catering purposes bookings are essential, please include your dinner booking on the entry form or please contact View Dining direct on 0418 783359.
Please find our entry form attached with pre-payment options that are available. Vouchers for prepaid registrations will be available for collection on Friday and Saturday at the Clubhouse.
